WEEK 6 – LEAGUE RESULTS

Winter Indoor Simulator League Y6W6 at Pembroke Pines Country Club.

This week of our Winter Indoor Simulator League Y6W6, we played Gleneagles  Golf Course in Scotland. It was the sixth of 7 weeks in which we play 7 famous golf courses from around the world.  

Team Yellow and Team Green tied for first place with 10 points each…Congratulations! to Ross for winning closest to the pin for the second week in a row.  He won with a distance of 9′ 0″.  Team Orange leads the league with 40 points heading into the final week of play.  Team Green is only 6 points back with 34 points and Team Red at 30 points. Can Team Orange hang on for the win?  It should be an interested final week of play. 

Basic Rules

Our winter league consists of 6 total teams of 6 players on each team. Each team has 2 groups of 3 players playing a 9-hole scramble. The combined score of both groups within the same team are added together for a team score. Teams are given a score quota each week. 5 points are awarded to each team who hits their quota plus an additional point for every stroke below the quota *up to a maximum of 5 points. Also a 1 point bonus is given to the team with the overall closest to the pin each week and a 2 point bonus for all ‘hole outs’ of 20 yards or more.

Note: *To make things more fair we’ve limited the number of bonus points for beating the quota to a maximum of 5.

T-1st Place – TEAM YELLOW (10 points)

T-1st Place – TEAM GREEN (10 points)

Overall Closest to the Pin – Team ORANGE – Ross 9’0″
