WEEK 5– LEAGUE RESULTS

Winter Indoor Simulator League Y6W5 at Pembroke Pines Country Club.

This week of our Winter Indoor Simulator League Y6W5, we played Troon North Golf Course in Arizona. It was the fifth of 7 weeks in which we play 7 famous golf courses from around the world.  All but one team hit their quota this week, tightening up the leaderboard with only a two more weeks to go.  Team Orange and Team Blue tied for first place this week with 10 points each…Congratulations! to Ross for winning closest to the pin with 10′ 0″ earning the Orange Team the extra point they needed to tie the week. 

Basic Rules

Our winter league consists of 6 total teams of 6 players on each team. Each team has 2 groups of 3 players playing a 9-hole scramble. The combined score of both groups within the same team are added together for a team score. Teams are given a score quota each week. 5 points are awarded to each team who hits their quota plus an additional point for every stroke below the quota *up to a maximum of 5 points. Also a 1 point bonus is given to the team with the overall closest to the pin each week and a 2 point bonus for all ‘hole outs’ of 20 yards or more.

Note: *To make things more fair we’ve limited the number of bonus points for beating the quota to a maximum of 5.

T-1st Place – TEAM ORANGE (10 points)

T-1st Place – TEAM BLUE (10 points)
