WEEK 4 – LEAGUE RESULTS

Winter Indoor Simulator League Y6W4 at Pembroke Pines Country Club.

This week of our Winter Indoor Simulator League Y6W4, we played Kapalua Golf Course in Hawaii. It was the forth of 7 weeks in which we play 7 famous golf courses from around the world.  All six teams finished on time this week in record form.  We even had one group on Team Red shoot a whopping 4 under par.  Three teams tied for first place this week with 10 points each…Team Red, Team Yellow and Team Green.  Congratulations! to Teresa for winning closest to the pin with 17′ 3″ earning the Blue Team a much needed point.

Basic Rules

Our winter league consists of 6 total teams of 6 players on each team. Each team has 2 groups of 3 players playing a 9-hole scramble. The combined score of both groups within the same team are added together for a team score. Teams are given a score quota each week. 5 points are awarded to each team who hits their quota plus an additional point for every stroke below the quota *up to a maximum of 5 points. Also a 1 point bonus is given to the team with the overall closest to the pin each week and a 2 point bonus for all ‘hole outs’ of 20 yards or more.

Note: *To make things more fair we’ve limited the number of bonus points for beating the quota.  Based on the scores each week…the team quotas will change accordingly.

T-1st Place – TEAM RED (10 points)

T-1st Place – TEAM YELLOW (10 points)

T-1st Place – TEAM GREEN (10 points)

Overall Closest to the Pin – Team BLUE – Teresa 17’3″

Next week we play Troon North Golf Course in Arizona.
