WEEK 3 – LEAGUE RESULTS

Winter Indoor Simulator League Y6W3 at Pembroke Pines Country Club.

This week of our Winter Indoor Simulator League Y6W3, we played New South Wales in Australia. It was the third of 7 weeks in which we play 7 famous golf courses from around the world.  New South Wales golf course proved to be challenging as only 2 teams this week hit their score quota.  Team Purple won with 7 points with Team Blue also hitting their quota collecting 6 points.   Congratulations! to Deirdre for winning closest to the pin this week with 41′ 0″.

Basic Rules

Our winter league consists of 6 total teams of 6 players on each team. Each team has 2 groups of 3 players playing a 9-hole scramble. The combined score of both groups within the same team are added together for a team score. Teams are given a score quota each week. 5 points are awarded to each team who hits their quota plus an additional point for every stroke below the quota. Also a 1 point bonus is given to the team with the overall closest to the pin each week and a 2 point bonus for all ‘hole outs’ of 20 yards or more.

Note: Based on the scores each week…the team quotas will change accordingly.

Week 3 Results:

1st Place – TEAM PURPLE (7 points)

T-2nd Place – TEAM BLUE (6 points)

T-2nd Place – TEAM GREEN (1 point)

 

Overall Closest to the Pin – Team GREEN – Deirdre 41’0″
