WEEK 2 – LEAGUE RESULTS

Winter Indoor Simulator League Y6W2 at Pembroke Pines Country Club.

For the second week of our Winter Indoor Simulator League Y6W2, we played Lakeside Golf Course in Utah. It was the second of 7 weeks in which we play 7 famous golf courses from around the world.  This week proved to be a difficult week as 3 out of the 6 teams failed to hit their weekly quota.  Team Purple won the week collecting 9 points with Team Orange and Team Red getting 7 points.  Congratulations! to Ross for winning closest to the pin this week with 12′ 3″ – getting his team a bonus point.

Basic Rules

Our winter league consists of 6 total teams of 6 players on each team. Each team has 2 groups of 3 players playing a 9-hole scramble. The combined score of both groups within the same team are added together for a team score. Teams are given a score quota each week. 5 points are awarded to each team who hits their quota plus an additional point for every stroke below the quota. Also a 1 point bonus is given to the team with the overall closest to the pin each week and a 2 point bonus for all ‘hole outs’ of 20 yards or more.

Note: Based on the scores each week…the team quotas will change accordingly.

Week 2 Results:

1st Place – TEAM PURPLE (9 points)

T-2nd Place – TEAM ORANGE (7 points)

T-2nd Place – TEAM RED (7 points)

Overall Closest to the Pin – Team Orange – Ross Smith 12’3″
