WEEK 5 – LEAGUE RESULTS
Winter Indoor Simulator League Y4W5 at Pembroke Pines Country Club.
Below are the highlights for week 5 of our Winter Indoor Simulator League Y4W5.
Early Morning Session (8:00am – 9:30am)
Team 1 shot a 5 under par to set the tone for the day. After five weeks of play, five under par is the best score any team has shot (In week 3, Team 6 also shot a -5). Steve’s short game helped team 1 get to -5 by draining two birdie putts of 40 ft and 30 ft. Then on the short par 4 6th, he chipped it within 10 ft to help secure another birdie.

With a score of 1 under par, team 2 has hit their quota for the second week in a row. The highlight of their round came on the last hole of the day. On the par 5 9th hole, Paul’s 2nd shot reached the green from 238 yards to set up an eagle putt. The team went on to birdie the hole.

Mid Morning Session (9:30am-11:00am)
Team 3 is quietly moving up the leader board after hitting their quota for the second week in a row. After last week’s one under par. Team 3 responded with a two under par score. Team 3 closed the round out on a high note when they successfully got up and down on the par 5 9th for a birdie.
Team’s MVP: Gary
Team’s Best Shot: Gary’s chip on the par 5 9th helping team 3 finish the day with a birdie.
Team 4 failed to hit their two under par quota for the week. A week after a sizzling four under par. Team 4 stumbled to an even par performance, snapping a four- week streak. Team 4 looks to rebound in week 6.
Team’s MVP: Ken
Team’s Best Shot: Sue’s approach shot on the par 4 8th. Hitting within 10 feet to secure a birdie.
Late Morning Session (11:00am-12:30am)
Team 5 shot a disappointing even par to miss their one under par quota for the week. Matt continues his frustrating season after holding out of training camp where he demanded to be the highest paid athlete in the league. On the positive side, Leslie is showing signs that she is a force to be reckoned with.

Team 6 shot a two under par to bounce back from last week’s missed quota. Ross again performed at a Tom Brady- esque level. Jimmy showed he is one of the league’s primer short game players. While Jason and Keith drank beer and made numerous quips and astute observations.

Team’s Best Shot: Jimmy helped closed out the round in style, with an up and down chip shot for birdie on the par 5 9th
Afternoon Session (12:30am-2:00am)
Team 7 shot a two under par to hit their weekly quota. Their performance helped them take over sole ownership of 1st place. Team 7 is the only team to hit their quota every week. In week 6, they must shoot a three under par to keep their streak alive.
