2023 Memorial Day at Mount Hood Golf Course in Melrose, Mass.

We’ve officially kicked off the 2023 Golf Season with our Annual Memorial Day Getaway. This year we visited Mt. Hood in Melrose, Mass. It was a bright, sunny day with chilly winds off the bay. A total of 20 players comprised of 5 teams gathered at an impressive, elevated first tee to play this Memorial Day Event. Mt. Hood is a unique golf course near Boston with beautiful views of the city from the watchtower on the front nine. While this may be a shorter course, it has some fantastic elevated tees, challenging fairways, and an all around unique character. The teams all did well considering the windy conditions. Congratulations to Lina for hitting all the greens on the par 3’s. Her closest was 13″‘ on hole #8. Congratulations also to Aaron for squeaking past Lina at 12’ on hole 18. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to play with us this Memorial Day Weekend.
